In this role, you will be responsible for CNC programming, machining process development, tooling and fixture optimization, and technical support to production. Working closely with machinists, production supervisors, and engineering teams, you will help improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability across our component repair operations.

This position combines CNC programming expertise with methods-related responsibilities, making it ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who enjoys both programming and process improvement.

  • Create setup sheets, work instructions, and tooling documentation.
  • Develop and improve fixture and workholding solutions.
  • Support machinists in troubleshooting machining and programming challenges.
  • Optimize cutting parameters, tooling selection, and machining strategies.
  • Conduct cycle time reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support the introduction of new repair processes and machining methods.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.

Qualifications

  • DEC in Mechanical Manufacturing, Machining Techniques, Industrial Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC programming, machining process development, or manufacturing methods within an aerospace, automotive, precision machining, or similar industrial environment.
  • Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and workholding.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, and strong competency in MS Office.
  • Functional French and English required.

What we offer you

  • Competitive compensation
  • Time to recharge with vacation, personal days, holidays, and parental leaves
  • Comprehensive Family Medical, Dental and Vision coverage available on your first day of employment
  • Virtual Health Care (24/7 access to medical professionals)
  • A Wellness Spending Account to aid in your wellness journey
  • Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) which includes free face to face counseling sessions
  • Medical Travel Insurance
  • Onsite fitness facilities at our main office locations
  • A Registered Retirement Savings Plan that includes matching company contributions on your first day of employment, that also includes access to Financial Advisors providing investment advice and comprehensive financial planning
