Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive odors.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read or hear. Frequent use of industrial washers and dryers and related laundry/housekeeping equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
