Role Description The Heavy Haul Dispatcher is a full-time, on-site role based in Rocky View County, AB. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and dispatching trucks and drivers for heavy haul, over-dimensional, and project-based freight moves across North America. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with drivers and project managers, monitoring load progress, adjusting plans to address delays or changing conditions, and ensuring regulatory and safety requirements are met. The Heavy Haul Dispatcher communicates with customers and internal stakeholders to confirm load details, timelines, permits, and route approvals, and maintains accurate records in dispatch and transportation management systems. The role also involves problem-solving in real time, optimizing equipment utilization, and supporting continuous improvement in dispatch processes and customer service.
