Overview

The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a global team of researchers within Mastercard that delivers high-quality, end‑to‑end research in support of Mastercard’s Advisors and Consulting Services. ARC partners closely with consulting teams and internal stakeholders to design, execute, and deliver rigorous research that informs strategic decision‑making for clients across industries and markets. This role sits within the ARC Quant Research capability and focuses on applying advanced quantitative analytics to primary market research data to support interpretation, insight development, and decision-making. This is an opportunity to help shape ARC’s advanced analytics capability within primary market research. You will work on complex, multimarket studies, apply sophisticated analytical methods, and partner closely with senior researchers and consultants. The role offers strong intellectual challenges, visibility, and the chance to build advanced analytics depth within a growing global research organization.

Role

As a Quantitative Senior Research Manager – Advanced Analytics, you will apply advanced analytical and statistical techniques to primary research datasets and partner closely with ARC researchers to interpret complex findings. You will act as a technical and analytical specialist, supporting the design, execution, and interpretation of advanced quantitative methodologies. Candidates for this position should be comfortable working with complex datasets, applying statistical judgment, and translating analytical outputs into clear research implications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced quantitative analytical techniques to primary research datasets
  • Execute and interpret methodologies such as MaxDiff, Conjoint / Choice‑Based Conjoint, Segmentation, and Regression analysis
  • Support experimental design and analytical planning for advanced quantitative studies
  • Analyze and interpret survey data to identify patterns, relationships, and trade‑offs in respondent behavior
  • Sense‑check analytical outputs, validate model results, and assess methodological robustness
  • Collaborate effectively with various cross‑functional teams across multiple, simultaneous projects and with external clients
  • Translate advanced analytical results into clear observations and implications for ARC researchers and consulting teams
  • Advise on methodological choices, limitations, and analytical feasibility during study design and execution
  • Partner with data processing, scripting, and visualization teams to ensure analytical integrity across the research lifecycle
  • Contribute to development of analytical standards, templates, and best practices within ARC
  • Support mentoring and upskilling of junior analysts on advanced analytics techniques
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying at the forefront of data and analytics in the financial services domain

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in quantitative market research, analytics, or a related research role (research agency experience is a plus)
  • Strong hands‑on experience with advanced quantitative methodologies (e.g. conjoint, segmentation, max/diff, Bayesian network, TURF modeling, etc…) and in building statistical models
  • Proficiency with analytical and research tools such as SPSS, R, DisplayR, and Sawtooth
  • Strong understanding of survey‑based research design and primary data structures
  • Ability to interpret complex analytical outputs and communicate findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience supporting multi‑market or regional studies is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree is a plus

All About You

  • Passionate about applying analytics to real‑world research questions
  • Enjoy working with complex data and uncovering meaningful patterns
  • Comfortable partnering with researchers to shape interpretation and insights
  • Curious, methodical, and rigorous in your analytical approach
  • Collaborative and effective in cross‑functional, global team environments
  • Motivated by intellectually challenging work and continuous learning
