Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director, Student & Community Engagement, the role provides front-line student and academic administrative support for the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD). specifically, the Office of Advising and Integrated Student Services (OAISS). The role provides a high level of quality service to incoming and current students, on a broad range of topics directly related to student services, enrolment in courses, general advising, and student role requires an appreciation of the work and timelines of the units' operation roles and responsibilities, while contributing to, and a supporting, a climate of student centeredness, service excellence and team collaboration.
Education:
Experience:
Two years of recent experience, defined within the last 5 years, providing student support, including general academic advising, awards administration, student services, student recruitment, and communications. Training or work-related experience in the Arts would be considered an asset.

Able to work independently as well as working effectively and collaboratively in a team and with other departments within the Faculty and across the University.
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel).
Proficient in Civitas, SIS, PES, FAAS.
