Job description

Team Lead – PAISLEY, ONTARIO

Location: Paisley, Ontario

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts based on operational needs (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), with occasional overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support your team to achieve operational and project objectives.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing performance feedback to employees.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
  • Promote CCN's values while ensuring accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all activities.
  • Participate in safety meetings, workplace inspections, and hazard identification initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors, managers, and cross‑functional teams to support project execution.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, skill development, and workforce engagement.
  • Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, reporting, and operational documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or another related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
  • Previous leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, construction, technical, or nuclear environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • The ability to coordinate teams and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
  • Experience leading daily operations and coordinating work crews.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships with employees, management, clients, and stakeholders.
