Job description

The Opportunity

Build on your academic foundation and gain hands-on experience as a Software Developer. You’ll join a team focused on building high quality, scalable software while learning industry best practices and modern development tools. This role offers you the opportunity to expand your programming skills, work on real product features, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers who will help guide your growth.

You’ll have the chance to learn from talented professionals with diverse technical backgrounds, including cloud infrastructure engineers, full stack developers, automation specialists, and more. We hope to learn from you too!

About the Team

At Nutanix, we are building Service Provider (SP) Central to redefine global cloud infrastructure by delivering the simplicity and scale of public cloud management directly to on-premises environments. As a critical backbone of our platform, SP Central empowers two massive industry ecosystems: Managed Service Providers (MSPs) delivering secure, multi-tenant enterprise cloud transitions, and Neoclouds pioneering the next generation of AI-first infrastructure with GPU-as-a-Service and Models-as-a-Service. By joining our team, you will tackle high-impact distributed systems challenges—from granular role-based access control to isolating "noisy neighbors" in compute-intensive AI workloads. You will be at the forefront of designing scalable architectures that allow the world's most innovative service providers to seamlessly manage complex, multi-tenant environments. Join us to engineer the cutting-edge infrastructure that makes ubiquitous, invisible cloud computing a reality.

Your Role

  • Learn Nutanix development practices, tools, and architecture with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new product features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and technical planning sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, SRE, and Product Management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic software defects with support from your team.

What You Will Bring

  • You are in your final year or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and experience with at least one modern language (., Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript).
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow as a software professional.

Perks You’ll Enjoy

  • Specialized onboarding and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Competitive pay and the chance to develop skill sets aligned with industry certifications.
  • A multicultural company with strong community support through employee-led groups and local teams.
