Job description
Shape the future of rideshare pricing as a Software Engineer at Lyft. Work in a hybrid setting to build effective pricing systems and optimize user engagement. As a Pricing Software Engineer at Lyft, you will be a cornerstone of our Marketplace team. Your focus will include creating solutions that enhance user experience while solving complex pricing issues. Collaborating with Product and Science teams, you'll drive projects aimed at balancing user needs and business priorities. This position allows you to tackle large-scale systems and distribution challenges actively. Key Responsibilities: • Innovate solutions for pricing and user engagement • Partner with teams to develop technology that meets needs • Manage feature development from idea to execution • Write clear, well-tested, and scalable code • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing Requirements: • BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant experience • 2+ years in software engineering roles • Familiarity with Python or Golang • Experience in backend systems and concurrency handling • Strong collaboration and communication abilities Join Lyft to optimize pricing and user experience, making a tangible impact daily. #J-18808-Ljbffr
