Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work in our Forensic Program. As an RPN, you will provide specialized care to patients with complex mental illnesses using a recovery-focused model of care built upon compassion, inspiration, and hope. You will be an active, equal member of the interprofessional team.
The Forensics Program includes Secure Forensic Service (3 units), General Forensic Service (3 units), and Forensic Outpatient Service. The Forensic Rehabilitation Unit (FRU) contains a PICA where staff will be required to work. Although the vacancy is for the FRU, all RPNs must be able to work in any area of the centre as patient needs dictate.
