Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid API Developer for our client in Toronto, ON. This role requires 2 days/week on-site.
We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our client's team on a contract basis for an initial 6-month engagement with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands‑on API development experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and integrating scalable API solutions within cloud-based environments.
This is a hands‑on development role focused on building and supporting modern API platforms. Candidates should have strong experience with Java Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, containerized applications, Azure services, messaging architectures, and API management platforms. This role requires an individual contributor who can work independently in a collaborative environment — not a manager or technical lead role.
The position follows a hybrid work model with 3 days per week onsite, with in-person interviews available in Toronto, Mississauga, or Burlington.
Salary Range: $70.00 – $90.00 per hour
