About the role:

TheFull TimeSeasonal Server provides exceptional quality and service toBraidwood Tavernguests. In this role, you will be tasked with providing an expertly served beverage or dining experience;anticipatingthe guests’ needs and as an expert on the menu options; and delivering memorable guest experiences. This role is part of the Braidwood Tavern team, reporting into the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and Restaurant Manager.

What you will do:

• Provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellenceforquality, professionalism, and friendliness.

• Anticipate guest needs and satisfaction; offersuggestions, andrespond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

• Assistin clearing and resetting tables according to service standards

• Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests dining at Braidwood Tavern.

• Setting up the restaurant for service, including the buffet.

• Presenting the menu providing detailed explanations of menuitems, andrecommending dishes.

• Take guest orders, including to-go items.

• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly while ensuring dishes are as requested.

• Anticipate guest needs, ensuresatisfactionand respond appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

• Handling payments accurately, processing transactions, and presenting bills to guests.

What you bring:

• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task

• High levelof understanding and knowledge of food and wine

• Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset

• Previousexperience as a Server in a restaurant or hotel isrequired.

• Passion and knowledge of food and beverage products.

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachabledemeanour.

• Strong command of the English language.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktail recommendations.

• Excellent commitment to service.

• Must have a current Serving it Right certificate.

• Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7,365 daysa year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends,overnightsand holidays.
