As a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the Women's and Children's Program, the Social Worker will provide a range of social work services based on family-centred care. This care includes perinatal loss; child protection concerns for the newborn, neonate and paediatric patient; crisis intervention counseling for parents and/or the obstetrical patient, and support to families facing birth anomalies and acute and/or chronic illness. This position reports to the Manager, Women’s and Children’s Program, with professional accountability to the Professional Leader for Social Work.
Accountabilities:
Hours: Casual Position - 8 hour day shifts Monday to Friday, day shifts with occasional evenings (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $45.58 per hour
Maximum: $59.09 per hour
