This is an exciting time for Academic Family Medicine in Calgary. The Department of Family Medicine (DFM)a shared initiative between Primary Care Alberta (PCA) Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the University of Calgarys Cumming School of Medicineis pleased to invite applications for one permanent part-time Family Physician Preceptors (0.4 FTE) at the South Health Campus Family Medicine Teaching Centre starting September 1 2026.
Why This Role Matters
As a Family Medicine Clinical Preceptor youll play a pivotal role in shaping future family physicians while maintaining your own clinical practice. Youll combine meaningful teaching longitudinal patient relationships and team-based care within an innovative academic teaching clinic.
This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in collaborative environments and are energized by coaching learners contributing to system improvement and practicing comprehensive family medicine.
