IntroductionThe Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking an energetic reliable and organized Service Detail Attendant to be the pillar of support for our Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey dealership. As a supporting role for our Service department youll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our take pride in delivering an excellent experience being detail oriented and ensuring every interaction reflects our strong commitment to our customers. The regularly scheduled hours will be Range: $19-24 per hour depending on experienceThis role reports to the Service Manager of the UsA division of the Jim Pattison Group the Jim Pattison Auto Group was founded in 1961 by Jimmy Pattison when he purchased a GM franchise. Today the Jim Pattison Auto Group encompasses 28 locations across Western Canada representing 16 automotive brands. Learn more about us here: Day in the LifeMaintain and monitor the cleanliness organization and overall presentation of our customer vehicles including exterior washing and interior cleaning and full detailingManeuver arrange and relocate guest vehicles with careEnsure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reportedSafe use of tools equipment and cleaning suppliesEnsure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer informationParticipate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environmentOther duties as assignedWhat Were Looking ForA valid BC Drivers license is required including a satisfactory Drivers Abstract reportPrevious experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong assetAbility to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferredStrong customer-service skills with a friendly approachable attitudeDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesReliable punctual and dependableThis is a physically active role and requires the following:Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lotWalking and/or standing for long periodsFrequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehiclesWashing vehicles which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending crouching and reachingSignificant time spent outdoors in various weather including sun rain wind snow cold and heat.
