Job Description

Job Summary

Provide diagnostic assessment and treatment services to patients in clinical settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Main Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
  • Interpret clinical and diagnostic results to establish evidence-based diagnoses.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and management plans.
  • Coordinate care and consult with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with privacy and professional standards.
  • Provide patient and family education, counseling, and follow-up to support treatment adherence and self-care.

Requirements

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in a relevant health profession or clinical discipline.
  • Relevant clinical experience performing assessments and delivering treatment in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret common diagnostic procedures and tests.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical protocols, evidence-based practice, and infection prevention and control.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills suitable for multidisciplinary care environments.
  • Eligibility for registration with the appropriate regulatory body where required and legal authorization to work in Canada.
