Title: Logistics Transport and Shipping-Receiving Coordinator

The logistics coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, including approximately 15-20 trailer receipts and shipments per day. This position involves collaborating with two day-shift forklift operators and two evening-shift operators, communicating directly with the operations supervisor, as well as managing inventory and logistics planning.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and guide the tasks of forklift operators to ensure workflow alignment, efficiency, and safety.
- Maintain regular communication with the operations supervisor to address logistics needs and resolve emerging issues. Ensure coordination between internal and external teams.
- Track and update inventory levels accurately to support efficient and compliant logistics.
- Ensure that all shipping, receiving, and inventory processes meet company policies and safety standards.
- Participate in the development of improved logistics processes to enhance operational flow and efficiency.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or inventory management preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of SAP or barcode tracking systems desired.
- Communication skills to coordinate effectively between internal and external teams as well as with our clients.
- Adaptability to changing scheduling and operational needs.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
