ABOUT ROCKET LAB

Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services complete spacecraft design and manufacturing payloads satellite components and more all with the goal of opening access to space. The rockets and satellites we build and launch enable some of the most ambitious and vital space missions globally supporting scientific exploration Earth observation and missions to combat climate change national security and exciting new technology demonstrations.

Our Electron rockethas become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit all while we work to develop Neutron our upcoming medium-lift reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployment. Our Space Systems business designs and builds our extensive line of satellites payloads and their components including spacecraft that have been selected to support NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and components used on the James Webb Space Telescope.

AsanOperationsDevelopmentInternbased at Rocket Labs site inTorontoCanadayou will have the opportunity tosupport Lab Management and Supply will help withthe development and documentation of processes and systems to ensure tools equipmentand systems arekept in a calibrated and functional state at all theSupply Chainsidewill support development testing and implementation of inventory management tools and systems to support cycle counting parts kitting and quarantine management associated with ongoing production activities as well as new product rollout.

YOULL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will thrive in ambiguity and are excited to work in small high-performing teams that are focused on continued learning and growth. Success in this position will be measured by the knowledge and experience you bring to the role your ability to lead development projects without supervision and your ability to successfully collaborate across teams to deliver results.

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelors masters or doctorate degree program inindustrial engineering manufacturing engineering operations management supply chainany relevantbusiness administrationdisciplineor arelevantengineering disciplineandhave at least one semester of school remaining post internship.

  • GPA of 3.0 or above

  • 3 months ofcorporate function experience within the areas of business operationsdata analysisfacilitiesor inventory management

  • Able to work full time on-site for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks beginning August 31 2026

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

  • GPA of 3.5 or above

  • 6 months ofcorporate function experience within the areas ofbusiness operationsdataanalysisfacilitiesor inventory management

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with lean manufacturing

  • Experience with facilities or equipment management

  • Experience with data management and statistics

  • Experience completing inventory cycle counts

  • Understanding of the 5S principles

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma

COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

  • Pay Range CAN: 52000 CAD Salary
  • You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting standing walking computer work and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise dust and fumes in production areas

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Ontario Pay Transparency Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Base salary is only one part of Rocket Labs compensation package for this role. You may be eligible for company stock or cash incentives and can purchase discounted stock through Rocket Labs Employee Stock Purchase Program. Employee benefits also include medical dental and vision insurance coverage; RRSP retirement plan options; paid vacation holidays and sick leave; paid parental leave; and other discounts and perks.

Base Pay Range (Ontario Only)

$52000 - $52000 CAD
