Where is the work:
A Service Technician is an experienced field professional responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining complex mechanical electrical and HVAC systems. This role typically includes a mix of handson technical work customer interaction mentoring junior technicians and ensuring highquality service delivery.
Perform advanced diagnostics on HVAC refrigeration or mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures using technical expertise and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct preventive maintenance to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
Install commission and test new equipment or system upgrades.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior or apprentice technicians.
Document service activities including parts used work performed and recommendations.
Maintain strong customer relationships explaining findings and solutions professionally.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex systems.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures regulations and company standards.
Recommend system improvements or replacement solutions based on customer needs.
Extensive handson field experience in HVAC refrigeration mechanical service or a related trade.
Strong understanding of electrical mechanical and control systems.
Technical certifications (HVAC licenses) depending on region.
Strong communication and customerservice skills.
Proficiency with service tools diagnostic equipment and digital work order systems.
