As Legal Counsel, you will manage claims, disputes, and litigation while guiding operational teams to mitigate risks and strengthen project delivery. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact projects while working closely with national leadership and diverse stakeholders.

Your Impact

• Manage claims, litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters across Canada
• Conduct claims assessments, investigations, and risk & liability analyses to support decision‑making
• Provide practical, timely legal advice to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Retain and instruct external counsel, experts, mediators, and arbitrators
• Draft, review, and interpret legal documentation and contracts
• Develop and implement strategies for dispute prevention and resolution, including delivering training
• Support business operations, including accounts receivable recovery efforts and shared services initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, insurers, and external partners to protect business interests

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Member in good standing of the Québec Bar
• Bilingual in French and English
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience in private practice or in‑house
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk management capabilities in dispute resolution
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and high volumes of complex files
• Experience in litigation, claims, insurance, or professional liability (engineering/architecture considered an asset)
• Knowledge of contract lifecycles, project delivery models, and multidisciplinary environments is an asset
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse teams

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - 130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - 124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 - 118,500
