Job description

Position Description

Strong Understanding and Implementation of the following Ministry Documents: Learning for All, Indigenous, Metis, Inuit Framework, Growing Success (Assessment), Ontario Language Curriculum.

Position Qualifications

  • Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers Primary/Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
  • AQ - Reading Specialist - Early Years Focus
  • AQ - Special Education Part 1
  • 3-5 years of teaching, leadership and academic coaching experience
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Assistive Technology & Google Apps for Education

Required Documents

  • Cover letter and resume highlighting qualifications and experience
  • Copy of Ontario College of Teachers - Certification of Qualification
  • Most recent LTO evaluation or most recent appraisal, if available
  • A minimum of three (3) references, including most recent reference, and email addresses must be included in order for your package to be considered complete
  • Successful completion of all Safety training courses
  • Must undergo a successful vulnerable sector check
