We are seeking seasonal Labourers to joining our summer mowing crew and help keep Albertas highways safe. If you have a Class 5 license and want to work for a company that values safety community and career growth we want to hear from you!

Conditions:

• Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)

• As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns some shift work on-call and night shift will be required

• Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr with increases based on experience

• Night shift premium $3/hr

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform various highway maintenance tasks including mowing weed whacking and culvert clearing
• Assist with traffic control procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Perform other road maintenance duties as required
• Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks

• Must possess a valid Class 5 drivers license

• Provide a 3-year drivers abstract

• Previous experience with landscaping equipment is preferred
