A career as a Senior Advisor, ETF Communications and Strategy within the Sales Support and Digital Strategy team at National Bank Investments (NBI) means playing a central role in the positioning and adoption of NBI ETFs across multiple distribution channels.

This is a key role in the development and execution of specialized content, market analysis, and positioning strategies designed to strengthen the understanding and differentiation of NBI’s ETF offering. The position combines research, market analysis, financial content creation, and strategic thinking to support the evolution of the product lineup and business growth initiatives.

Acting as a key point of collaboration between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams, you will translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant communications for investors, advisors, and internal stakeholders. Through your expertise, you will directly contribute to increasing awareness, understanding, and adoption of NBI ETFs.

Your role

• Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, ETF industry trends, and evolving investor needs to help guide product positioning strategies.
• Develop high-level financial and technical content by translating investment strategies, portfolio construction concepts, and performance drivers into clear and relevant messaging for a variety of audiences.
• Develop and enhance value propositions, strategic narratives, and differentiated positioning for NBI ETFs in alignment with market trends and the competitive landscape.
• Produce market analyses, commentaries, product briefs, presentations, and other specialized materials to support internal teams, distribution partners, and investors.
• Serve as an ETF subject matter expert by monitoring market trends, competitive positioning, and industry best practices, and translating insights into actionable communications.
• Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams to ensure consistency, relevance, and accuracy of ETF-related communications while contributing to strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated in-depth expertise in the Canadian exchange-traded fund industry, including both traditional and alternative ETF solutions.
• Significant experience in financial research, market analysis, and the development of specialized content related to investment products.
• Strong understanding of investment product positioning and value proposition development.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively, adapt to a changing environment, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
