GARNEY

A Driver position is available at Garney. TheDriver safely transports materials tools and construction equipment to and from job sites ensuring all loads are properly secured and vehicles are well-maintained. This role also requires compliance with safety standards and supporting field crews with general labor tasks in active and sometimes congested work environments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Transport construction materials and equipment (including large diameter pipe) using a flatbed truck ensuring loads are safely secured
• Plan and navigate delivery routes through traffic tight access points and active construction sites
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and support material staging as needed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections maintain logs and ensure overall vehicle cleanliness and readiness
• Follow all safety policies use required PPE and maintain awareness in active construction zones
• Communicate and interact professionally with coworkers vendors and the public
• Support field crews with general labor tasks and other duties as assigned between deliveries
• CDL Water Truck driver loading truck with water and applying water to job site areas as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to safely operate work trucks and transport construction materials and equipment
• Knowledge of proper load securement and safe handling practices
• Comfortable working in high-traffic active construction environments with a strong focus on safety and detail
• Effective team player with the ability to follow directions and communicate clearly
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and project needs
• 3 years of experience driving work trucks (or similar) with a clean driving record and construction-related experience preferred
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience transporting materials or operating heavy equipment is a plus
• CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement.
