Workplace Manager

Job Description Summary

The Client is a Global Software & Solutions Provider. Cushman & Wakefield are retained to provide Workplace Management (WM) services globally.

Role Purpose

As a key member of a global team responsible for service delivery and ownership of the appropriate location within the Clients estate ensuring services are delivered to agreed contractual service quality commercial and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Leadership

  • To be the visible leader of the Workplace team within the North America.
  • To ownand be accountable for theworkingenvironmentoftheregion toensure aconsistenthigh qualityworkplace experience for colleagues and visitors at all times.
  • Line management of theregionsWorkplaceteam ensuring full compliance with both C&W processes and expectations andClientrequirements as these may change from time to time.
  • Tounderstand and live theClientvalues at all timestobe able to articulate what they mean and how they are applied in the execution of WM responsibilities and to ensure that all members of theregion-basedteamare able todo the same.
  • To understand commit toupholdand be able to articulatetheOperating Principles of theC&W-Clientcontract.
  • To understandClientpriorities globally and as they apply to theregion.
  • To ensure the resources deployedto theregionare appropriate at all times and where adjustments are required to providean evidenced case to theClientRegional Workplace Managerand/or the Global Workplace Director.
  • To ensure that all direct reports have in place a measurableDevelopment Plan identifying a clear career path and how to achieve it.
  • To raise any matters of non-compliantperformance and conduct of the C&W team in the region withline management and/ortheC&WHuman Resources collating and providing evidence as required.

Supply chain

  • To ensure allthird partyservices are delivered to the commitments of the global contract.
  • Torecommendchangesto third party supplier arrangements where service quality commercial or compliance matters are compromised.

Service quality

  • To establish and maintain relations with keyClientcolleagues inallthelocations as the trusted source of assistance and support as required.
  • Toregularly interact with fellowWMsin other regions and to identify and share innovationswith the network for the benefit of the global contract.
  • To manage the9-pointKey Performance Indicator (KPI) systemfor the locationbased oncolleaguecommercial and compliance and provide management reporting as required.
  • To effectively manageminorworksas directed byClientand ensure that theappropriateresources are deployed in each case.
  • To ensure theWorkplaceGuide (full services directory)forthelocationremain up to date at all times.
  • To work closely with theClientIT team to ensure a seamless service inthe location inareas such as access and security visitor management desktop IT network availability and reprographics.
  • To engage withthe C&W published Research & Insight material and webinars to ensure access to evolving best practice in workplace management and as a contribution to continuous improvement in the role.

Commercial

  • To effectively and diligently managecostagainst budget for theregion reporting as required and identifying potential cost savings opportunities when they arise.
  • To identify any risks or threats to meeting budget as soon as they are known.

Compliance

  • To effectively and diligently manage commercial riskoftheregion maintaining anup to dateregister as required to minimise and mitigatethepotential effectsof known and unforeseen risks.
  • To effectively and diligently manage health and safety in theregion minimising or removing the potential for lost time incidents completing all required audit requests and liaising with specialist colleagues are required to deliver the service.
  • To ensurethe locationcomplieswiththedefined foundation standards (ClientWorkplace) using theassessment tool as directedreporting and costing upgrades where required to maintain alignment.
  • To effectively and diligently managesustainability within theregionas directed byClient.
  • To effectively and diligently manage the requirements of theClientBusiness ContinuityProgramme(BCP)withintheregion.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 96390.00 - $113400.00
