Job description
Job Title: OpenText Exstream Developer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 06-12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled developer with expertise in OpenText Exstream and VB.NET 10.0 for a contract position. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Analysts to refine business requirements, develop document designs, and create Proof of Concepts for complex requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in OpenText Exstream
- Experience with VB.NET 10.0
- Strong knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON, Delimited, and Columnar
- Experience with output formats including PDF, AFP, and Email
- Familiarity with tools like Extream Design Manager/designer (v16 and v25), S3, Postman, pgAdmin, SQL, Bitbucket, SourceTree, Empower, Command Center, and Cloud Orchestrator
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Command Center (CC) to fetch payloads and modify/run jobs
- Knowledge of 2-pass processing, bundling, sorting, and search keys
- Experience with Docx/RTF editing for dynamic wording in OTE Import
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine business requirements and review document designs
- Develop and update templates using Exstream Designer, Design Manager, and Empower
- Conduct unit and regression testing, migrate pub changes via SourceTree to BitBucket
- Perform code reviews and production deployment
- Validate PUBs in BitBucket vs deployed PUBs and confirm deployed resource components
