About the Role

IPECC Project Management is a growing project management consulting firm providing project controls, governance, and delivery oversight across construction and infrastructure programs in Alberta.

We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to support schedule, cost, and margin performance across multiple client programs. This role is embedded in operations — not a back‑office function — and works directly with Program Managers to ensure financial discipline, schedule integrity, and early identification of risk.

This role does not manage construction execution. Instead, it focuses on controls, insight, and decision support in a consulting / owner’s representative environment.

Project schedules are maintained in Microsoft Project, with Smartsheet used as our internal project controls and reporting platform.

What You’ll Do

• Review and validate project schedules in Microsoft Project
• Assess schedule updates, slippage, and forecast impacts
• Validate progress against approved baselines and milestones
• Integrate schedule and cost data into Smartsheet for reporting
• Track project financials including labor, subconsultants, and vendors
• Monitor AR / AP, cash flow, and revenue recognition for PM services
• Own project-level gross margin tracking and forecasting
• Identify cost, schedule, and margin risks early and communicate clearly
• Support SPI, CPI, EAC, and rolling forecasts
• Prepare clear, actionable reporting for Program Managers
• Act as a project controls partner to project and program leadership
