-Must hold a heavy truck driver's license

-Chainsaw experience required

-Involves remote work and travel required

Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Reports to: General Foreperson

Essential Functions:

• Operate various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping, and related assignments.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Load and unload equipment from trailers.
• Perform routine inspection and general maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement and clean driving record.
• Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
• Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills
• Ability to read and complete daily paperwork
• Occasional overtime required including some Saturdays
