Job description

This role is for one of our clients

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to contribute to a global initiative focused on advancing safe, evidence-based healthcare through innovative technology. In this non-clinical position, you will apply your medical expertise to evaluate model-generated medical content, ensuring clinical accuracy, alignment with current standards of care, and patient safety. There is no direct patient care; instead, your work will support the development of AI tools for healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated responses to health scenarios and patient queries.
  • Apply clinical reasoning to identify inaccuracies, gaps, or potential safety concerns.
  • Ensure all content aligns with up-to-date guidelines and standards of care across primary care domains.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality, ethics, and medical professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent).
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, or the UK, depending on your location.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical practice experience.
  • Strong expertise in general medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
  • Familiarity with patient-relevant topics such as obesity medicine, integrative medicine, and complementary/alternative health practices is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate medical nuances clearly.

Why This Role:

  • Contribute to the future of AI in healthcare by ensuring safe, accurate, and human-centered medical content.
  • Engage in intellectually rewarding, mission-driven work without patient care obligations.
  • Enjoy flexible, remote arrangements with a supportive team culture.
  • Play a critical role in advancing AI tools that improve healthcare delivery worldwide.
