Job description

As an EPeep, you’ll work on projects that impact students' lives and have the freedom, support and resources you need to develop your skills and grow your career.
We are looking for English/Language Teachers with experience in the Ontario Curriculum to support the development of high-quality content for our Ontario English/Language offering for Grades 6-9.
In this contract-based role, you will thoroughly check and provide feedback on lessons and sets of closed questions written by other contractors that address parts of Strand C&D of the curriculum.
This opportunity might suit you if:
- You have at least 1 year of experience teaching the new Ontario English/Language Curriculum for Grades 6 to 9, as well as an additional 1-4 years of experience teaching either C and D within Grades 6 to 9 as a whole
- You are familiar with the Right to Read Initiative (preferred, but not required)
- You are familiar with Culturally Relevant and Responsive Pedagogy (CRRP)
- You are familiar with cross-curricular and subject-specific literacy skills
- You are experienced in and enjoy making, teaching resources
- You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with technology
- You have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently
The project will commence in mid-January 2026 and continue until late June 2026. We require a commitment of approximately 10 - 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Employment will be contract-based and payment will be based on deliverable items.
