Position: Journeyman Pipefitters – Turnaround




We are currently hiring Journeyman Pipefitters (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project starting early May, 2026.




Qualifications & Education:






  • Journeyman Certificate in Pipefitting

  • Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry

  • Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space and Fall Protection

  • Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and First Aid.

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing




Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:





  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings

  • Strong pipefitting background including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending

  • Previous exposure to bundle pulling or exchanger work is required, including:



  • Assisting with bundle extraction and reinstallation

  • Supporting fin fan / air cooler or heat exchanger maintenance scopes



  • Comfortable working alongside Boilermakers and other trades in exchanger-related work scopes

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a turnaround or shop environment

  • Effective communication skills with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure all work meets Canoco safety standards and client-specific requirements

  • Willingness to support team development, share knowledge, and mentor apprentices where applicable
