Job description
Shape the future of energy with Alectra as an Independent Board Director. Bring your governance expertise and regulatory insight to impact diverse communities in Ontario. Alectra Inc. is seeking an experienced Independent Board Director for its governance team. As a member of the Board, you will set strategic directions, oversee operations, and manage pivotal organizational risks. Ideal candidates will possess strong regulatory knowledge and have experience in governance or strategic roles within the energy sector. Key Responsibilities: • Set Alectra’s strategic direction in energy management • Provide oversight on operations and identify organizational risks • Navigate complex governance and regulatory matters • Serve on two Board committees with a commitment of 20-25 meetings annually • Contribute to the People & Safety Committee and potential chair role Requirements: • Senior executive or board-level experience required • Strong background in energy, governance, and human resources • Knowledge of technology, innovation, and digital transformation • Experience chairing boards or committees • Preference for applicants in Vaughan area Leverage your leadership and governance skills to empower communities with Alectra. #J-18808-Ljbffr
