Job description
Step into a vital role as a Financial Analyst within the FP&A Reporting and Budgeting team in Dartmouth or Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This position centers around driving efficient budgeting processes through advanced financial models and actionable insights.

As a Financial Analyst, you will analyze operational workflows, leveraging your strong acumen to propose data-driven strategies that enhance performance. Your role will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to map workflows and refine budgeting templates, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Advanced Excel proficiency is necessary, as you'll manage and manipulate large datasets with sharp attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities: • Drive budgeting and forecasting initiatives with financial models • Analyze operational efficiencies to enhance business performance • Translate complex requirements into clear action plans • Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders • Analyze and interpret large financial datasets accurately

Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in Business or similar • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred • Solid understanding of P&L Statements • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, VBA) • Familiarity with KNIME or similar tools is an asset
