Job description
Lead the accounting team at Linamar as a Supervisor, Accounting, focusing on financial accuracy and team management. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with financial obligations.

The Supervisor, Accounting at Linamar directs the accounting team while managing the production of financial reports. This position demands a degree in business administration or accounting, along with a CPA designation. You will develop cost estimates, maintain financial systems, and direct resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise financial statement production and accuracy • Provide comparison information for management decisions • Develop cost estimates for products and generate reports • Ensure internal control systems are maintained • Conduct performance reviews and supervise team tasks

Requirements: • CPA designation required with a related degree • Minimum five years accounting experience, supervisory preferred • Ability to interpret financial data and present it clearly • Train staff in job duties and compliance policies • Proficient in relevant accounting software programs
