Job description

As a vital member of the Ontario Pension Board (OPB), you will guide enterprise-wide budgeting and financial reporting activities. With significant experience in financial planning, you will enhance forecast accuracy while partnering with senior leaders. Your role supports strategic decision-making in a complex public-sector pension context, ensuring financial integrity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead development of operating and capital budgets annually • Establish consistent planning methodologies across the organization • Deliver high-quality financial analysis, including variance assessments • Translate complex information into actionable insights for executives • Modernize planning and reporting through enhanced tools and processes

Requirements: • Extensive experience in financial planning within complex organizations • Strong analytical skills for interpreting operational inputs • Proven track record in scenario and sensitivity analysis • Exceptional communication skills for executive-level materials • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools
