Our mission is clear: keep Canada’s CC295 Kingfisher fleet mission-ready to save lives across one of the largest and most challenging search and rescue regions in the world. At AirPro, we manage all Integrated Support Services (ISS) activities—encompassing engineering, logistics, maintenance, IT systems, infrastructure, and material support—throughout the entire product lifecycle. Our dedicated team ensures that Canada’s state-of-the-art search and rescue aircraft are always mission-ready, performing at their peak when it matters most.

Our mission is clear: keep Canada’s CC295 Kingfisher fleet mission-ready to save lives across one of the largest and most challenging search and rescue regions in the world.

As the Maintenance Program and Reliability Specialist you will be responsible for the Operator Maintenance Program for the CC295 Kingfisher aircraft. During the in-service phase, this includes the analysis of reliability and maintainability information to ensure the greatest level of aircraft availability and the identification of areas for improvement. The incumbent will provide support to the other Support Systems in AirPro (Logistical Support Analysis (LSA), Technical Publications, Material, Performance Management) and ensure that the Main Operating Bases and the MRO have the required information and materials to perform their work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse technical documentation, assess impact and propose changes to the Operator Maintenance Program, maintaining currency with the latest directives.
  • Manage Technical Problems reported from the customer on maintenance related issues.
  • Perform management and oversight of the PAL Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) to ensure the 3rd line maintenance is performed, roadblocks are removed and work is completed within the agreed timeline.
  • Generate MRO progress reports for internal and external distribution.
  • Manage communication on status of the MRO activities to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform impact assessment for MRPs or additional work to the MRO & coordination of resources.
  • Provide R&M support to other support systems (i.e. LSA, Materiel) and input in support of fleet management activities to optimize planning and manage risks.
  • Collect data from aircraft fleet usage and perform R&M analysis of aircraft fleet and compare to predicted values.
  • Report R&M analysis and raise applicable Technical Problems to improve R&M performance.
  • Review repair reports on failed aircraft units to determine any trends and provide recommendation on sparing levels.
  • Generate weekly aircraft availability report.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following Experience:

  • Completion of a college diploma or undergraduate degree in a related field is required.
  • 5 years in maintenance and reliability environment is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant Aerospace Engineering experience, or Military Technician.

  • Experience related to MRO/Part 145 operations.

Key Professional Skills:

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and organizations.
  • Skilled at facilitating cooperation and navigating differing perspectives to keep groups focused on common objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions, using collaborative abilities to align stakeholders toward goals within AirPro and FWSAR program.

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance.
