Job description
Take the lead as an Accounting Manager at Black Cat Wear Parts in Edmonton. Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and cost accounting while interacting with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you'll report directly to the Controller and supervise the accounting team. Key responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, conducting financial reporting and inventory reconciliations, and supporting ERP transitions using systems like Microsoft NAV and Epicor Kinetic. Your expertise will be fundamental in aligning accounting operations with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations of the accounting function • Prepare bank reconciliations and month-end closing entries • Conduct statutory reporting and maintain financial security • Support cost accounting and inventory control in manufacturing • Collaborate across teams to achieve business goals

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience • Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls • Experience in manufacturing accounting and cost management • Proficiency with Microsoft NAV or similar ERP systems
