Looking for : Part-Time Nanny for Active 1-Year-Old (Dog Friendly / WFH Home)

Start Date : June 2026

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 10 : 30 AM – 2 : 30 PM (Approx. 20 hours / week)

Location : Kitchener - University and Bridge

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and nurturing helper to join our family starting this June. Our little one will be 12 months old, and we need someone to take the lead during the mid-day stretch while we both work from home.

Note on our home : We are a dog-friendly household! We have a friendly dog who will be around during the day. While no pet care is required (no feeding or walking), you must be comfortable sharing the space with a four-legged friend.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Engagement : Playing, reading, and taking the baby for walks or playtime in our backyard.
• Mealtime : Preparing simple, healthy meals / snacks for the baby and handling feeding.
• Clean-up : Keeping the "baby zones" tidy (cleaning up toys and high-chair messes).
• Potty Training : Assisting with elimination communication (EC / cues).
• Safety First : Keeping a watchful eye on a newly mobile toddler!

Requirements

• Resume : Please provide an up-to-date resume outlining your childcare experience.
• References : Contact info for past childcare references will be required.
• Background Check : A clear Police Information Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required before finalizing employment.
• Safety Training : Up-to-date First Aid / CPR training is a significant asset.
