The Opportunity

We are looking for a new board member to join our Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in information technology and ideally some experience or expertise in accounting. Priority will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in managing a digital transformation.

Directors are collectively responsible for guiding and effectively overseeing Assumption Lifes senior carrying out their duties a director must :

• Ensure efficiency transparency integrity and fairness within Assumption Life;
• Promote the adoption of sound governance practices;
• Ensure Assumption Lifes compliance with its regulations;
• Maximize Assumption Lifes value; and
• Ensure the continuity and sustainability of Assumption Life.

Position Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who ideally possesses skills in both information technology and accounting. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in managing technological transformation projects.

Holding a governance certification such as the ICD.D or ASC designation would also be considered an asset.
