Qualifications

• This position requires a related undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving news environment.
• Strong news writing abilities - traditional news reporting and feature writing.
• Strong knowledge of CP style.
• Familiarity with the Montreal Jewish community
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• A self-starter who is able to generate quality story ideas
• This is an English-language position, but ability to speak French is an asset.
