Mechanical design of ground support equipment used to manufacture/assemble or deliver antennas, payloads or space electronics.
Understand customer specifications
Suggest new concepts to meet these requirements
Select/design components according to constraints
Integrate concepts from electrical, manufacturing, alignment, thermal and structural analysis into 3D models
Develop detail and assembly drawings, parts lists and user guides
Monitor operations of component suppliers
Support the use of designed and assembled equipment during integration and testing activities.
What you must have:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automated production engineering or equivalent
Ability to work as part of a team
Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical design
Good communication skills
Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Excel
