The centralized Product Management organization will serve a critical role in TD\'s ability to develop leading products and capabilities by enabling greater scale, capacity, quality and efficiency for our Transaction Banking businesses across Canada and US. It will deliver product strategy, product development, and go-to-market approaches for the entire Transaction Banking business. The Director drives product strategy, market positioning, commercial growth, and governance while leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the Canada Deposit & Liquidity Product Management team, making it an attractive opportunity for those who are looking to shape strategy, drive innovation, and lead a high-impact business function. We are specifically seeking someone with strong hands-on product management experience and a proven track record of delivering product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Product Vision

  • Own the strategic roadmap for the Product Factory\'s liquidity product suite, balancing client needs, regulatory demands, operational capabilities, and revenue objectives.
  • Drive multi-year product strategy across markets and our three in-scope business segments (Canadian and US Commercial Banking and TD Securities), with a focus on competitive differentiation and scalable innovation.
  • Champion strategic initiatives at senior forums, influencing executive stakeholders and steering cross-functional decision-making.

End-to-End Product Ownership

  • Lead the full product lifecycle across ideation, design, development prioritization, commercialization, and ongoing optimization.
  • Oversee investment planning, business cases, and budget alignment for product enhancements and new builds.
  • Ensure the delivery of complex product initiatives, partnering across technology, operations globally.

Market Research & Opportunity Development

  • Conduct and direct advanced market research to identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends in liquidity and treasury management.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships, industry shifts, and regulatory changes that impact the product landscape.

Commercialization & Performance Management

  • Drive commercialization strategy in partnership with sales and relationship teams to accelerate adoption and deepen wallet share.
  • Establish and track product-level KPIs, financial performance, and client satisfaction metrics; lead remediation or enhancement programs when necessary.
  • Own pricing strategy and profitability management for the liquidity product portfolio.

Subject Matter Expertise & Governance

  • Serve as a senior SME across liquidity solutions including virtual accounts, notional pooling, cash concentration, sweep structures, and intraday liquidity.
  • Ensure rigorous product governance, regulatory adherence, and risk management across all offerings.
  • Lead audit and regulatory engagement relating to the liquidity product suite.

Leadership & Enablement

  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, promoting best practices in product discipline, analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Lead internal and external product education efforts, including executive-level presentations and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in liquidity product management, treasury services, or transaction banking, with significant ownership of strategic product portfolios
  • Deep expertise across liquidity solutions including cash concentration, notional pooling, virtual accounts, intraday liquidity, sweeps, and investment services
  • Proven track record in developing multi-year product strategies, driving commercialization, and delivering complex product enhancements at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional partners at senior levels, including technology, operations, risk, finance and compliance
  • Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in business case development, pricing strategy, product-level P&L management, and KPI governance
  • Experience representing products in regulatory, audit and risk management forums
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor junior product managers and contribute to broader product organization development
  • Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentations, client discussions, and thought leadership
  • Bachelor\'s degree; MBA or similar advance degree preferred
