Position

Outside Sales Representative – responsible for the Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Aldergrove and surrounding area. The role involves representing Modern Beauty and our sister brand Mod Products, which distributes professional salon, barber, and spa supplies to licensed industry professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of MBS products to new and existing clients to grow sales and build brand loyalty.
• Solicit potential clients through cold calling within the assigned territory.
• Manage time efficiently and maintain a call schedule to cover the territory in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of sales call reports, work plans and other documentation for the assigned area.
• Stay knowledgeable of industry developments by attending trade shows and other events.
• Serve as a liaison for Mod Products, handling objections from clients while portraying the company positively.
• Align individual objectives with company goals to satisfy and retain customers by anticipating their wishes and needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to close sales and hit quotas, using each client interaction to acquire, retain and up‑sell.
• Provide service to new and existing accounts through service calls and appointments, ensuring accuracy in order entry.
• Willingness to become an expert in product knowledge and to communicate and present sales material effectively.
• Ambitious self‑starter with a passion for the beauty industry.
• Ability to work independently while fostering positive relationships with clients, managers and teammates.
• Preferred: 2–3 years of outside sales experience.
• Strong problem‑identification skills and a proven record of overcoming objections with persistence.
• Valid driver’s license required; out‑of‑office work is essential.
• A valid passport is required for frequent travel, which may include travel outside of Canada.
