About Our Family We are a warm, active, and busy family seeking a highly reliable, proactive, and experienced Do‑It‑All Nanny who can support our household Monday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm (flexible with the hours). We value a calm, organized home, healthy routines, and someone who brings positive energy, initiative, and professionalism. Our children are school‑aged (primary school) and the role combines light childcare, housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and household organization. Owning a car is a big plus as camp pick might be required in the summer. Role Summary The Do‑It‑All Nanny will manage childcare, home upkeep, and family assistance to keep our household running smoothly. This includes everything from after‑school routines to meal prep, maintaining a tidy home environment, and supporting daily logistics. Schedule & Location • Part‑time: Monday–Friday (2-6pm) • 20-25 hours/week. (Possibility for weekends if flexible) • Based in Nuns Island, occasional errands in the area, around Nuns Island or on the South Shore Key Responsibilities 1) Housekeeping & Home Management (Primary) • House cleaning • Daily tidying and maintaining an organized home • Laundry, folding, ironing • Meal prep and simple cooking (family‑friendly meals) and maintaining a clean kitchen. • Grocery shopping and restocking essentials • Managing household tasks, schedules, and small errands • Deep clean specific areas for time to time • Simple administrative paperwork (i.e., bills/phone calls/library renewals) • Accept deliveries and be on site to receive "repairman men" as needed . 2) Light Childcare • Prepare for school arrival, after‑school supervision, and routines (snacks, next day lunch or cloths prep) • Engage children in age‑appropriate activities • Support after‑school organization • Ensure safety, emotional support, and respectful communication at all times Required Qualifications • Experience as a nanny, nanny‑housekeeper, or household manager • Organizational and multitasking skills • Valid driver’s license (car an asset) • Ability to work independently and create a routine to get things done that works for you. Other Professional designation or certificate a plus.
