System Administrator

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a DevOps Specialist to their team for an initial 12 months of contract with a possibility of extension / conversion. This role is currently hybrid, twice a week in office in Toronto. The DevOps Specialist contributes to the ongoing support and operations for applications within Global Finance and Risk Technologies.

Responsibilities Include :

• Support the Operations of critical Risk Applications such as Bancware (Asset Liability Management -ALM), RCRR, IFRS9, and others.
• Assessments into Application Operations Maturity and provide automation improvement recommendations to development teams
• Executing / monitoring Monthly / Quarterly Operations (shift hours will be required)
• Ensuring ongoing communication of Operation status, completing regular status reports and escalating issues, as required.
• As a part of a support team provide excellent services and become a trusted advisor to customers via proactive and enthusiastic social engagement, technical depth and highest level of customer satisfaction in every interaction.
• Recommend and implement improvements, document knowledge in the form of incident notes and technical articles through team's knowledge base and Bank-wide social media. Prepare, coordinate and lead technical trainings for end users and team members.
