Job descriptionQuick start date. One day of remote work per week after the training period. Monthly team cocktail / team-building activity. Focus on employee well-being, including chair massage sessions. Diploma in Accounting (DEC or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician. Experience with month-end accounting processes. Strong proficiency in Excel (account analysis). Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Detail-oriented and proactive. Fluency in French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Odoo software (an asset).
Tasks
- Verify data transfers between point-of-sale systems and the accounting system.
- Monitor bank deposits and validate cash receipts.
- Validate weekly transactions recorded by the centers (, arcade and membership revenues).
- Participate in month-end processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, loans, etc.).
- Prepare weekly and monthly Excel reports.
- Perform any other related tasks to support the accounting team.
