Job Description

Hire Resolve is assisting healthcare organizations in hiring experienced healthcare professionals for a portfolio of mid–senior level opportunities across nursing, allied health, and clinical practice leadership. This is a multi-role opportunity covering several clinical functions within hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation services, community care, and specialized programs.

These roles are designed for professionals ready to take on broader clinical accountability and progress toward senior clinician, clinical educator, advanced practice, and service/team leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for complex patient needs
  • Coordinate care within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to escalation, discharge planning, and continuity of care
  • Provide clinical leadership within a unit, clinic, caseload, or therapy service, supporting quality and consistency of care
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and handovers in line with organizational and legal requirements
  • Support patient safety, medication safety (where applicable), infection prevention and control, and clinical risk management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and practice reviews to strengthen care outcomes and service performance
  • Uphold privacy and confidentiality requirements and follow established information-handling policies (provincial and federal expectations may apply)
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the development of junior staff, students, and new team members
  • Contribute to policy, protocol, and pathway development to improve clinical effectiveness and patient experience

Requirements

  • Recognized professional qualification aligned to discipline (e.g., Nursing degree/diploma; Allied Health degree/diploma such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Medical Laboratory Science, Imaging, Respiratory Therapy, etc.)
  • Current registration in good standing (or eligibility to register) with the applicable provincial/territorial regulatory college (role dependent)
  • Typically 5–10+ years of post-qualification experience in a relevant clinical setting, including complex case exposure and demonstrated clinical judgment
  • Strong understanding of Canadian patient safety and quality expectations, including participation in clinical governance and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation processes and electronic clinical record workflows (system experience varies by employer)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • English proficiency required; French proficiency is an asset for roles in bilingual settings (particularly Québec, Ontario, and federal service environments)

Benefits
