Hi there! My name is Erika. I’m a mom to two kids ages nearly 5 and 7! My partner is a dedicated father, but also a very busy shift worker. We live near Westwood lake in Nanaimo, BC. I’m hoping to find someone trustworthy and detail oriented to help out 12-20 hours per week around the house. We have help for the next few weeks but are hoping to find someone that can start very soon or by early October. We would love to see this role become a long-term one with an individual that can bond with our family. We would need help from about 3pm to 6pm at least 2-3 nights per week and ideally an evening once a week. If it is possible for someone to also work a few hours in the mornings 2-3 times per week, that would be ideal, but not 100% necessary. We would like to be flexible to accommodate the right person. Pay is negotiable based on experience and method of payment. Ultimately the right person will do some food prep for kids (snacks/lunches), some light meal prep for family dinners, transportation of kids from school and to activities and occasional bedtimes. A driver’s license is likely necessary. Flexibility to do a few other jobs such as laundry and cleaning on a more relaxed schedule. Our household is bilingual french and english.
