Graphic Designer (Retail Marketing) – 6-Month Contract
Location: On-site – Mississauga, ON
Contract Length: 6 Months

Our client, a leading national retailer, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their fast-paced marketing team on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful, high-visibility projects within a dynamic, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce promotional units and marketing collateral for both customer-facing and corporate initiatives

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned designs

• Translate strategic marketing goals into compelling visual assets across multiple channels

• Support digital and print campaigns with strong attention to detail and visual consistency

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in graphic design, ideally within the retail or consumer goods industry

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)

• Strong hands-on experience with Figma (this is a must-have)

• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello)

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• A strong design portfolio demonstrating creative and production skills

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing for large-scale retail or e-commerce platforms

• Understanding of shopper marketing and promotional design strategy

This is an on-site role located in Mississauga, offering the chance to contribute to nationally recognized campaigns and work within a well-established, creative marketing team.
