About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing Bridges team. This role is based in our Guelph office location. The successful candidate will support and lead the delivery of bridge and municipal infrastructure projects with a focus on project management, assessment, planning, design, proposal preparation, and construction support. You’ll work closely with our bridge and municipal engineering teams and collaborate with other disciplines across our six office locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with conceptual, preliminary, and detailed bridge design
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare construction cost estimates, tender documents, and contract packages
• Review designs for compliance with applicable standards
• Conduct site inspections for existing infrastructure and construction projects
• Conduct condition assessments of existing municipal infrastructure
• Develop proposal submissions and assist with business development efforts
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to junior staff and review their work
• Support growth initiatives in the Guelph area
