In-home caregiver – private home – StWe… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is February 1, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: StWe… lives in Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city metro is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is rue Notre Dame and Rue St Rémi

Duties may include:

1. This job is to help with the care of a 1-year-old child.
2. Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers
3. Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
4. Bathe children as needed, and prepare them for naps
5. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
6. Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
7. General housework that will include doing laundry.
8. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1. Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
